A kick!

It is quite funny when daddy puts his face on my tummy and you gave a kick right at where his face was at. Haha.. 

Inez haven felt you yet.. Thats the next thing i want to do.. Let your big sister feel you..

Fetal movementsssss....

Little one, you move a lot in my tummy. I sometimes feel acrobatic moves and martial art kicks! You move more then your big sister, but it's ok.. I rather feel movements then not feel any. Another 19 more weeks to see you :)

Pain, aches, all about this pregnancy

Did i mention in my previous post that this pregnancy is very different as compared to having Inez? 

Been google-ing all my symptoms and realised that i am experiencing all of what i should experience in my later trimester. Like today, while walking to the market to get some ingredients for kueh bangkit, my left leg suddenly ached so much that i couldn't stand still. 

I had to walk around to relieve the aches. Sitting down also relieved the aches. Basically, i cant stand still in 1 position, even while waiting for the traffic light, i had to walk around in circles, or when queueing at the cashier, i had to get my hubby to do so. 

Went to the TCM shops to get some medicated patches, thinking that it would relieve the pain, but when i asked the shop owner if i can use it during pregnancy, he became super 激动 and said: "这种东西怀孕都不能用的啦!"

I was like: "woh, okok" 

Bought it anyway since my hubby needs it more than me. 

I hope the next few subsequent checks will be much better. I thought the 2nd trimester is usually the honeymoon period, but i guess, this little one is trying to take revenge on mummy as she has been eating so much spicy food! Well, that was what my hubby said.. 😒

Happy 2016!

Towards the end of 2015, it wasn't very good for me, especially at work, but it was still way better than the whole of 2014!

I believe it would be a great and better year in 2016! Looking forward 😃

First touch

18 Dec 15: Last night, I thought I felt you moving, but when I placed my palm on my tummy, there was nothing.

Tonight, I'm pretty sure I felt you turning. Still No feelings at my palm but at least I'm sure it was you and not bubbles :)

14 Dec 15: Happy news for me!!

I'm now 16 weeks into my 2nd pregnancy and happy to know that I'm having a boy. We have already decided on his English name but shall only disclose when he is born. Oscar scan & test is also negative, like 1:8000 chances of getting it. I really hope that this is as accurate as it is. :)

This pregnancy is very very different as compared to when I had Inez. While having Inez, the whole pregnancy was so smooth that I didnt feel I was pregnant until I was at my third trimester, when the typical symptoms like waking up in the middle of the night for the toilet or to have some snacks because i woke up hungry, my legs were cramping and swollen due to water retention, and my shoe size became a size larger then it was and still is, carpal tunnel syndrome, gestational diabetes and high blood pressure kick in etc..

Also, I only gained 5kg throughout my pregnancy and when Inez was out, my weight when back to the original. She weighed 3.55kg, so the rest i assume is the from the water bag and placenta.

As for this pregnancy, typical symptoms like nauseousness, headaches, hungry all the time, carpal tunnel syndrome, high BP started already during the first trimester. I'm hungry every 2 hours and thank goodness, I've not gain weight. Phew.. I can only gain a maximum of 7kg throughout and so far, my weight has been up and down. Still below 80kg. Blood sugar is still under the normal range, which means I can skip the GTT test for now.
