My skincare routine

Updates: Not sure why all my pics are gone. I've also deleted the pics after uploading for this post. Doesnt matter...

My routine have changed!! Oh my.. Cannot believe that I am so into our products right now, and making me aware of what are the uses of certain products and steps, from skin care to makeup to hair!

Last time, I don't need to use makeup for work, neither do I bother about using this and that, I don't remove my makeup when I use it etc.. I know that I should but I'm just lazy lah.

Being in this company, besides being able to purchase our brands at discounted prices, I can also have samples at times. Of course, me being a miniature junkie, always love samples, especially those in travel size rather than sachets. I won't say "no" to them, but I seldom ask for it too actually. I just take whatever they offer.

Of course, there are products that don't suit me at all although people say that it's very good etc. Everyone skin is just different.

Anyway, There are a few products that I must note down and share to whoever is reading my blog (if applicable):

1. Skinceuticals serum 10 (using only the sample which I feel can last me for at least a month due to my usage)

This product makes me pop a pimple (sometimes 2) each time I use the product and I don't use it everyday as it is usually not recommended for virgin skin to Vitamin c to use it everyday. So I only used every 2-3 days ( yes, that is enough time for my pimple to grow). That's the downside, however, I LOVE this product because the area with no pimples is SUPER CLEAR!! It brightens up my face and make it look very refreshed! And got the "tionk tionk" feel. <3

2. Biotherm Aquasource

This is one moisturizer I'll never change. It is so moisturizing and makes my skin feels soft and supple. I have combination skin with super oily T zone but dry cheeks. So this moisturizer somehow balances my skin. I have to admit that using this does not make my skin less oily (so far, I have not found the miracle product to control the shine), but it does make more "balanced".

3. Magic moment mask (deep sea collgen nourishing mask- deep refining and nourishing)

This mask, is DA BEST SHEET MASK I've ever used! Only available in China. The feeling when you put on the mask: cooling. It also give you a "tionk tionk " feel. No mask I've used ever gave me such effect. It's part of my weekly routine now :)

4. Maybelline Baby skin- pink and green

Oh my, the green tube is very good! Using my L'Oreal Paris True Match Liquid Foundation (R1) after will result in "ZERO pores" look!! No wonder so many good reviews for this product.

The pink tube is for brightening and has SPF. I feel that it does not cover as well as the green, but it does make my skin look pinkish and brighter? It has a little shimmering thingy to make the brightening effect. So this is for my lazy weekends where I don't feel like putting too many things on my face, so after washing my face, I'll put this and go. It doesn't dry my skin and with its SPF 35, why not?

5. Kiehl's Rare Earth Cleansing Mask

This is another mask I will use weekly. It's a clay mask and helps in deep cleansing. It feels a little "stingy and hot" when applied on it. But it is totally worth it because after washing it off (after it dries), my face is very clean and blackhead lightened! And it doesn't dry my skin at all.

6. La Roche Posay micellar water

This makeup remover is very good, better than the Biefesta brand I am using as well (IMO) as this water doesn't leave an oily feel if you don't cleanse, so I usually have to double cleanse. With LRP, I don't have to! My skin feels like it has been washed with my own facial foam after removing my makeup. Downside of this is that I can't exactly remove the waterproof mascara or eyeliner. It takes a long while but biefesta can do the job slighter better.

I'll use this Garnier oil based remover for eye makeup. It works like all oil makeup remover. Love the colour, which what made me attracted to it in the first place.. Hehehe

7. Maybelline Rocket mascara

Google it and reviews will show positive reviews about this wonderful mascara!! The brush of this mascara makes my lashes separated and gives a thick coat to individual lash, for the volumizing effect. Not dramatic at all. Best of all, it doesn't smuge on me ( I have very oily lids) and the LRP micellar water is able to remove it!

8. Shu Uemura gel eyeliner

No smudge on my oily lids! It gives a soft look, easy to glide on as well. I'm using it in brown. Do note that you can only turn it one way and you can't retract it if you turn too much.

9. Hair serum

Shu uemura Art of Hair - Ultimate Remedy serum

Smells a little like jasmine but it says it is lotus flower. But whatever, it smells nice and works. It makes my hair feels soft. I've rebonded too many times that my hair is very "cui", still "cui" lah, so allowing me to feel a difference in my hair texture means it is working!

L'Oreal Professional - sealing repair lipidium

This smells very very nice and works as well as my shu! Love both, so I use both depending on what my mood. Kekeke.

Under this range, there is a hair primer as well.it makes my hair really soft after using it with my hair mask. I've always been a fan of this range, also because my hair has always been that "cui"..Haha..

Non- L'Oreal products from here onwards..

10. Yves Rocher Pure System Stop Blemish Lotion 4 in 1

I recently bought this but I have not tried it. I have been in a search of a pimple/blemish cream ever since my all time favourite Panoxyl (from Steifel) has been discontinued. No luck as yet but hopefully this can give me some hope!

11. Peel mask from Daiso

What we can expect from a $2 product? This is a cheaper version of some other black peel mask and it is not bad. I like it and will continue using it till it discontinues (Choy!!)

11. Eye brow coat from daiso

This product is highly raved in the Internet as well. It really makes my eyebrow last the whole day!! And very cheap isn't it? I wouldn't have draw my eyebrow so often if not for this product..

So my weekly routine now is like this:

First I'll use a scrub, then squeeze out my blackheads, use the daiso pack and peel off, then the Kiehl's clay mask, wash it off then my magic mask. When done the daily routine comes in.. So far I feel it clears my skin, so will continue doing this in hope to see better effect..
