Week 29 (30)

OMG!! Im already into my week 30!! That means our little one would be popping in about 8 - 10 weeks from now.. Scary!!

Im not exactly prepared mentally, on becoming a Mummy soon! Im scared, Even Daddy's scared too =S

I went for my gyane checkup on Fri..sad news.. I was told that my blood sugar level is on the higher side, meaning I've got gestational diabetes. Something that I can only control but cant prevent.

So, I was asked to see the staff nurse in the Diabetic Clinic and also the dietitian..

I just cant rotate this picture. Its already rotated in my folder.. Anyway, here is the blood glucose tester.. I have to test like 7 times a day, 2 times a week until BB is out.. Not cheap to maintain.. Ive also tried to prick myself like 7 times already when Im only at my 4th point.. Is either too little blood or no blood and I have to waste the strip... duhz..


Here's my birthday pressie from colleagues in ST... I chose this diaper bag organizer because I cannot find a big bag with tons of compartments.. So i think maybe this might be useful? I can put like 5 milk bottles, 1 huge pack of wet tissues and dont know how many diapers..

The baby booties is from her Godpa.. Looks so sweet right? I love the buttons lo!!

This is from my secret buddy.. a game we are playing at ST.. kakaka.. We are suppose to guess who is our secret buddy after a month of "giving" and "pleasing". I think I know who's mine.. hahaha

I was shopping yesterday with Hubs in Orchard, we came across this brand of clothe diapers that I saw online..

This is the price of 1 diaper.. and its suppose to be able to use until the child is like about 2-3 years old.. The colours are really attractive too!


These are the inserts and its prices.. I'm still deciding if I should get SG bumwear.. They have a shop in United Square.. I'll go there one day to have a feel of its material first before buying.. The Moo Moo Kow seems really lasting and soft to touch!! Im liking it.. =)

Baby purchases!!

Oh my!! Im so glad today (besides the point that its my birthday)! Serene asked me to go over to RObinsons to shop for BB during lunch as she has a 25% discount voucher..

Of course, me entering the "auntie" age, 25% is 5% more then the usual sale, so why not?

So I bought this

Pigeon new born starter kit for only $35 when the usual is about $47!

Also bought a tollyjoy nail clipper for $2.70.. Hee!!

So happy with my good bargains! =)

Week 28 (29)

I'm officially into my 3rd trimester!! I'm feeling excited yet a little scared...

I'm still doing research on things like: which cloth diapers should I buy? brands of bottles I should get and the teats as well.. Etc

Not fully prepared yet!! Though there are still 3 months left, seems alot of time but NO!! Time flies really quickly!! Look! I'm already 7 months pregnant!

Im already suffering from sever constipation... My stomach will be so painful at night and it feels like cramps but can tell the difference if its for shitting or contraction cramps.. Just can't get it out my system.. =S

My pimple cream is no longer working for me.. I've got blemishes and pimples on my face and body too!!

Those who knows me will know that I'll put my pimple cream all over my face everyday.. This is to prevent any new pimples or blemishes.. It worked quite well unless it's time of the month..

Oh well, these are what ladies have to suffer before becoming a real mum.. I don't mind as long as my little one comes out healthy and normal =)

Week 26 (27)

The little one moves alot in my tummy..she moves when there loud noises, especially when she hears sounds from TV or when I place the IPod on my tummy for her to listen some classical music.. Even now she is moving..

It's really amazing and it also made me wonder if she moved because she likes the sound/music or that she just want me to move away from it..

Whenever Daddy's warm hands are place on my cold tummy for a while, she will sense the warmth and kicked/moved in response.. Haha..

She gave him a wonderful birthday present by "kicking" his face when he placed his ears onto my tummy, trying to listen to her heartbeats.. LOL

I've measured my tummy.. Still at 109cm though I know it has grown bigger and wider by the increase in stretch marks and the tightness of my tops at the belly area..

My weight still maintained at 83-84kg, which is definitely good news for me, meaning that I'm still at the "healthy" gain and that I don't have to try to loose too much weight after giving birth...Kakaka

Week 25 (26)

We did some little shopping for our little one..

We went to Baby Hyperstore at Ubi to look around, thinking we are able to find some good prams at good price but actually, the prices are actually comparable to those in Kiddy Palace, John Little etc...

Unless you are really looking at those with never-hear-before brands where you can get it at about $100.. Or older models of Combi from Baby Kingdom (beside the Baby Hyperstore)

Even those baby clothes, milk bottles, breast pumps are all similar prices as those in stores.. Not too sure if you can bargain but I dont think the price would be able to be much of a difference..

If you have those Robinson, John Little, Isetan cards, you might still be able to save a little bit due to those rebates..

Anyway, Hubby went over to Kiddy Palace TPY to get the pram as not many outlets have the stock anymore as it's been on sale for quite some time already.. We saw this Capella
Capella S-217 pram at Baby Kingdom,selling at $219.. We bought it at $186 after discount.Thought it was quite a good buy because we kinda like the design and the green colour... Its those bright lime green, One button fold and it's about 5.2kg.. It's for newborns to about 3 yrs old toddlers..
